About Beth

B Rosenthal, Founder and Principal

Beth Rosenthal founded Collaboration and Change in 1986. Through her experiences as a community organizer, coalition-builder and nonprofit executive director she recognized that nonprofits and communities need multiple, comprehensive approaches to multidimensional, complex problems. A Revson Fellowship for the Future of NYC launched her study of coalitions as organizational forms and processes, an ongoing exploration and focus for this consulting practice.

Her unique workshops, curricula and coaching have strengthened the capacity of non-profit professionals, boards and grassroots leaders. Previously, as charter Executive Director of The Washington Heights-Inwood Coalition, she led a multi-issue organization serving a largely low-income, immigrant community of 200,000 to weather volatility and displacement.
